Adaptive Soccer Resources
Participate in Adaptive Soccer
Many participants with visual, intellectual and mobility impairment participate in programming directly with their local Member Organizations. Our Member Organizations work hard to offer programming that is accessible to participants of all abilities, and work with participants and their parents/guardians to ensure that the soccer experience meets their needs. Want to play soccer in Saskatchewan?
Would you be interested to see a specific type of adaptive programming within your Member Organization? Are you a Member Organization looking to create an adaptive program? Check out our
Adaptive Soccer Member Strategy to learn how we're expanding programming in this area. Contact the IDEA Coordinator at
j.wood@sasksoccer.com to find out how to get started .

Canada's Para Soccer National Team
Canada's Para Soccer Team is made up of athletes who have cerebral palsy or have had a stroke or brain injury. To accommodate the abilities of the athletes and to make the game more exciting, the game has slight modifications, such as a smaller field, smaller nets, no offside rule, etc.
If you are an athlete with one of these three disabilities, you could play for Team Canada in international competition! For more information, or to be identified, visit
Canada Soccer.
