Domestic Travel Permits

Team Responsibilities and Domestic Travel Permit Procedure

It is the traveling team’s responsibility to confirm that the event they are entering in has the proper approval (i.e. it has been sanctioned by the respective Provincial Association).
Once this has been confirmed the team completes the Domestic Travel Permit Form.
The team’s Member Organization (MO) is required to sign the Travel Permit Form verifying that all of the players and team personnel travelling with the team are registered in the relevant season.
After the MO signs the Travel Permit Form, the team must submit the completed form and fees to the SSA.
Once processed and approved by the SSA, an approved copy will be emailed to the team and Member Organization.
If a change is required, the team should contact the SSA Office and MO. If approved, the SSA Office will make the changes to the permit, and email an updated copy to the team.
The travel permit should always be taken with the traveling teams to the tournament.

Fees

For Domestic Travel Permits, for those teams wishing to compete outside of Saskatchewan, the fees are:
 
For requests received more than 30 days prior to the event - $30.00
For requests received less than 30 days but more than one week before the event - $100.00
For requests received less than one week before the event - $200.00

Forms

The Domestic Travel Form and Roster must be completed in full (including required signatures) by the team before being submitted to the local Membership Organization: 
 

International Travel Permits to the United States

Team Responsibilities and International Travel Permit Procedure

It is the travelling team’s responsibility to confirm that the event they are entering has the proper approval (i.e. it has been sanctioned by the respective National Association).
Once this has been confirmed the team completes the SSA International Travel Permit Form.
It is essential that the information of all players and team personnel on the travel permit matches the information on their travel documents.
The team’s Member Organization (MO) is required to sign the Travel Permit Form verifying that all the players and team personnel travelling with the team are registered in the relevant season.
Once signed by the MO, the Travel Permit is submitted to the SSA for approval. SSA will provide a quote for the insurance fees and payment will follow.
SSA will provide the team with the approved Travel Permit.
Approved travel permits should always be taken with traveling teams to tournaments. 

Fees

For International Travel Permits, for those teams wishing to compete in the United States:
 
For requests received more than 30 days prior to the event - $50.00
For requests received less than 30 days but more than one week before the event - $100.00
For requests received less than 30 days but more than one week before the event - $200.00
 
PLUS the cost of this insurance is $3.00 per day per individual. Payment for this total is to be submitted to the SSA Office prior to the approval of the travel permit.

International Travel Permits - Outside of Canada and the United States

Team Responsibilities and International Travel Permit Procedure

It is the traveling team’s responsibility to confirm that the event they are entering has the proper approval (i.e. it has been sanctioned by the respective National Association).
Once this has been confirmed, the team completes the SSA International Travel Permit Form.
The team is to have their MO sign the Travel Permit Form to verify that all players and team personnel travelling with the teams are registered in the relevant season.
Additionally, teams must also complete the Canada Soccer Application Form outlining the tournament name or exhibition games. A complete list of games and dates are required to process.
A minimum of 40 days in advance of travel, both forms are submitted to the SSA for approval.
The forms are forwarded to Canada Soccer for approval.
Once the travel application has been received from SSA, Canada Soccer will process the application form for participating in an international match or competition and forward to CONCACAF for approval.a) Canada Soccer will deal with any inquiries that may come from the respective National Association or CONCACAF.
Once the approval has been received from CONCACAF the travel application will be approved, SSA will provide the team with an insurance fee quote payment will be due.
SSA will provide the team with the Approved Travel Permit.
Approved travel permits should always be taken with traveling teams to tournaments

Fees

International Travel Permits, for those teams wishing to compete outside of Canada and the United States:
 
Must be submitted a minimum of 40 days prior to the day the team leaves to travel - $100
PLUS the cost of the Canada Soccer Travel Application - $100 
PLUS the cost of the additional travel insurance. The SSA will communicate the quote to the team's primary contact for approval. Payment for this total is to be submitted to the SSA Office prior to the approval of the travel permit

Forms

The International Travel Permit Form and Roster and Canada Soccer Application Form must be completed in full (including required signatures), before being submitted to the local Membership Organization. 
 

Temporary Registration (Individual Travel Permit) - Out of Province

A player is only permitted to hold registration in a single jurisdiction at any given time. A player registered with the SSA wishing to play for a registered team from outside of Saskatchewan in a competition taking place outside the jurisdiction of the SSA can request a Temporary Registration by completing the below form and submitting it to the SSA Office along with the applicable fee. 
 
Administration Fee: $25.00
