Rural Adult Grant - Soccer and Futsal

New to 2022, we are excited to announce the Rural Adult Grant - Soccer & Futsal. This offers an opportunity for Rural organizations to expand their engagement within the community to include Adult participants.

Grassroots Workshops

Grassroots Workshops provide the opportunity for Member Organizations' staff, boards, and volunteer groups to meet with SSA staff right in their home communities. The open discussion identifies the Member Organization's strengths, successes, struggles, and areas of support. Saskatchewan Soccer implements changes to programs and services based on the feedback received, leading to improvements in delivery for rural Member Organizations.

MAP Grant

The MAP Grant provides all Member Organizations, particularly rural Member Organizations, with significant funding opportunities to grow the game in their communities.

Coach & Referee Education

Rural Member Organizations are able to deliver community soccer coaching courses, referee clinics, and Laws of the Game refresher courses in their communities, for their members.

Grants

Saskatchewan Soccer offers several grant opportunities that rural participants are able to access, including the Female Development Grant, Coaching Professional Development Grant, Referee Development Grant, and Adult Engagement Grant.

Player & School Camps

Member Organizations are able to offer player camps and school camps in their home communities. Camps could be used as a promotional event ahead of the season starting, a partnership with your local school or community association, or purely for fun!

Saskatchewan Summer & Winter Games

Saskatchewan Soccer supports the delivery of soccer in the Saskatchewan Summer Games and the delivery of futsal in the Saskatchewan Winter Games (brand new in 2022!) by holding the application process for District teams, promoting District team formation, and overseeing the delivery of the competition. Coaches and athletes all around the province are welcome and encouraged to participate!

REX Youth Engagement Days

The REX Program hosts youth engagement days, where Member Organizations' youth teams come to tour the facility, watch the REX Program's games, participate in post-game interviews, interact with the REX athletes, and receive presentations on the REX program and player pathway. As well, coaches are welcome to come and interact with REX Program team personnel and get insights from their strategies.

MO Resources & Technical Resources

Saskatchewan Soccer has created and compiled a variety of technical and organizational resources meant to support coaches, technical leaders, and organizers to do the business of soccer even better.

Recognition Awards

Member Organizations are able to acknowledge outstanding contributions and achievements in individual and team play, coaching, officiating, and volunteerism through Saskatchewan Soccer's technical and recognition awards.

Player Pathway Identification Network

Athletes throughout Saskatchewan are able to be identified to the next step of the player pathway through the player pathway identification network established by Saskatchewan Soccer.
