Adult Soccer Member Strategy
Grassroots Workshops
Grassroots Workshops provide the opportunity for Member Organizations' staff, boards, and volunteer groups to meet with SSA staff right in their home communities. The open discussion identifies the Member Organization's strengths, successes, struggles, and areas of support. Saskatchewan Soccer implements changes to programs and services based on the feedback received, leading to improvements in delivery for adult-serving member Organizations.
Recognition Awards
Member Organizations are able to acknowledge outstanding contributions and achievements in individual and team play, coaching, officiating, and volunteerism through Saskatchewan Soccer's technical and recognition awards.
MAP Grant
The MAP Grant provides all Member Organizations, including adult-serving Member Organizations, with significant funding opportunities to grow the game in their communities.
Player Clinics
Member Organizations are able to offer player camps in their communities. Camps could be used as a promotional event ahead of the next season, a partnership with your local recreation or community association, or purely for fun. Player camps could be ran in soccer, futsal, walking soccer, or beach soccer at an introductory or competitive level and can focus on skill development, tactical development, or position specific like how to be a goalkeeper. Dust the rust off today!
Rules Refresher Courses
Member Organizations are able to host refresher clinics on the Laws of the Game. Learn about the latest rule changes or introduce the fundamentals for those who are new to the game.
Adult Competitions
Saskatchewan Soccer offers several competitions for adult participants including SK Adult Futsal Provincials, SK Prairie Futsal Championships, Saskatchewan Open Cup, and S4L Masters Championships.
The Rural Adult Grant - Soccer & Futsal. This offers an opportunity for Rural organizations to expand their engagement within the community to include Adult participants.
Registration opens January 1st of each year!
Partnership with Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association
Saskatchewan Soccer is proud to work with Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association to expand walking soccer for older adults across the province, and to offer walking soccer in the upcoming Saskatchewan Senior Summer Games.
Member Organizations who offer adult programming are welcome to contact Saskatchewan Soccer about hosting a walking soccer 'try it' day. SSA will come to your community and help deliver a walking soccer event for participants who are interested in the modified format of the game. Try it today!
