Soccer Days in Saskatchewan is Coming to Regina!

July 21-24, 2022 - Back for another year, this weekend will include three familiar SSA Competitions - SK Open Cup, PSL Championships, and Masters Provincial Championships. A new competition will be introduced - Walking Soccer Provincials!
On July 23, we are bringing back fan favourites - Soccer Tennis, Skills Competition, 3v3 World Cup for youth and adults, and a couple more exciting opportunities! Registration for these events is open to all SSA Participants and the public.

Family Fun, Fundraising & Footy! Mosaic Stadium Will Host Another Match in August 2022! 

Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) is offering all SSA Member Organizations the opportunity to fundraise in July with a Kick-back Community Fundraising Initiative - with $2 from every ticket to August 3rd's match sold coming back to the MO.

MAP Grant Follow Up Deadline - September 30 

This is an early reminder for Member Organizations to start organizing your MAP Grant follow up documentations. The deadline to submit the follow up is September 30. 
To ensure you get the most out of your MAP Grant Funding, watch our?2019 pre-recorded Prerecorded Follow-up Webinar.??It is 6 minutes long and details the process and the things to keep in mind in completing your follow-up reports. Alternatively, we also have a guide, MAP Grant Follow Up Guidelines which will help you complete your follow-up report. It is important to note that two documents have been added to the follow up requirements:   
 
If you have questions or would like to have your follow-up reports reviewed for advice on how to maximize your funding, please email e.senger@sasksoccer.com to schedule a time between now and September 15. Alternatively, if you require an extension or need to revise your MAP grant application, please email e.senger@sasksoccer.com by September 15.

Club Licensing & MAP - QSP Communication 

Canada Soccer Club Licensing-Quality Soccer Provider (QSP) 
The standards for Quality Soccer Provider (QSP) as a part of the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program will become a requirement for all Member Organizations delivering soccer to athletes under the age of 18 by end of 2023.  
As a member organization of Saskatchewan Soccer you already meet many of the criteria for Quality Soccer Provider, so please be sure to complete the Canada Soccer Club Licence declaration of interest form

MAP - in 2023, For Youth Serving Members: MAP funding is only available to Member Organizations that have applied to achieve a minimum of Quality Soccer Provider (QSP) status under the Canada Soccer Club Licensing program. 
This means, in 2023 order to be paid out for MAP you must have applied for QSP.
