SERP Referee attends CSA seminar

Saskatchewan Elite Referee Program (SERP) referee Shukwia Tajik attended the Canada Soccer Women’s Referee Developmental Seminar in Toronto on October 16 and 17. The seminar consisted of sessions on training, education and testing. The participants also attended two Canadian Premier League matches, one of which was officiated by an all-female crew.

This has been a fantastic opportunity for all officials, with Shukwia representing SK and the SERP program very well. We are looking forward to future opportunities showcasing the talent and hard work of our SERP match officials. Congratulations Shukwia!

We encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated.
Wash your hands frequently (it is the single most effective way of reducing infection spread).
Practice other good hygiene habits: do not touch your face/eyes/mouth with your hands and cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough (ideally with a disposable tissue or the crease of your elbow).
Clean and disinfect frequently touched workspace surfaces.
Stay home if you are sick
Our sport is underway during the pandemic. It's a challenging time, but support from our partners allows us to offer opportunities for kids to play. We acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada. Nous reconnaissons l'appui financier du gouvernement du Canada.
