July 15 - Member Update
Return to Soccer
On July 11th, all public health orders were removed, and while the pandemic is not yet over, we are on the road to recovery and moving towards normalcy. We want to thank you all again for your continuous work over the past 15 months and for continuing to keep sport safe.In a meeting with BRT and Sask Sport this week, BRT indicated that they will still be around to answer calls and questions for the foreseeable future. They also provided clarification on the following:
General Health guidance should still be followed - ex. Stay home if sick!
Pre-activity health checks are not a requirement, but organizations should continue to reiterate key messages to their membership (ex. do not attend a game/practice when not feeling well, hand washing, etc.)
Organizations are no longer required record attendee information for contact tracing purposes.
There are no restrictions on Inter-provincial travel from Saskatchewan’s perspective, however we need to be mindful of the restrictions of other provinces. Also, National borders are federal jurisdiction, and therefore federal orders must be followed when it comes to leaving the country.

Ticket Sales
We would like to thank everyone for their support in drawing attention to the fundraiser and would like to reemphasize the importance to drive ticket sales. SSA has provided the platform, but ultimately cannot be the main driver of ticket sales for each organization. If each organization sets a goal of selling $200 (10 purchases of $20) a week, we will hit $3,800 a week in sales with the current number of organizations signed up. Consistently high payouts will incentivize individuals to continue to purchase tickets and will ensure the success of this fundraiser. Please interact as much as possible with our weekly social media posts and promote the draws to your membership when possible.
