June 12, 2020 Member Update
June 12, 2020
BE SAFE! BE THE SOLUTION!
Yesterday during the provincial government COVID Update, Deputy Premier Gord Wyant indicated that we can be assured that we will see sports go ahead this summer. They were not ready, however, to announce a date for phase 4 which we should anticipate early next week. Also released yesterday were the government’s Outdoor Sport Guidelines (pg. 70 of the Re-open Saskatchewan Plan). Based on this new information, we are sure you have many questions and we hope to be better equipped to answer those questions once we have more clarity on these guidelines and phase 4 from the government. Until that time, our focus remains on supporting membership to undertake the steps indicated within the
Return to Soccer Plan (RTSP) which are to be completed prior to resuming activity.
We have developed a
COVID 19 Resource page on our website to assist you in the planning process. If you have any resources you’d like to share with the membership, it would be appreciated if you could email them to
cms@sasksoccer.com.
Outdoor Registration
With return to play approaching members will need to turn their attention back to online registrations. Registrants previously registered for this outdoor are required to update their submissions. To ensure the RAMP system is prepared SSA will be temporarily shutting down the RAMP Outdoor 2020 registration from Monday, June 15 at 8:00 a.m. - Tuesday, June 16 at 8:00 a.m. This is necessary to ensure that updated waivers and compliance forms, which have been amended to the realities of COVID19, are in place and completed by each participant prior to any activity.
Member Organizations will receive detailed information outlining the changes for the updated Outdoor 2020 registration next week.
Note: Each organization will still have access to their registration systems but no “SSA season” will be active to receive registrations during the shut down time.
SSA Member Discussions
The next SSA Member Discussion is scheduled for June 23rd at 8:00 PM. It is possible that as the government releases information that we may require a meeting prior to this date. If this is the case, we will try to give membership as much notice as possible.
Recordings of all previous Member Discussions are available on our
YouTube Channel.
Canada Soccer Online Youth License

cms@sasksoccer.com (revising your application does not change the amount of allocated funding, but rather your eligible projects).
